Hello friends. The festival is now 10 days away and I am madly glazing and finishing work. I unloaded my first glaze fire last night, and was very very happy with the results! A huge hello from the beautiful, sunny, and much cooler city of Des Moines, IA! I have successfully arrived, and am finally done setting up my booth. I'm about 3 places down from where I was last year, but I feel like my setup is much better. What a difference a year's worth of experience makes! Now, I'm just waiting for the judges to come by and hopefully award me best in show for the emerging Iowa artists.
